Today, I get to feature some new, dear friends of mine, Andrew and Christina Gard! This dynamic duo from the northwest made their way to Lakeland, Florida and into the hearts of thousands of students at Southeastern University. The energetically alive and authentically Christ-centered culture we get to experience here at Southeastern has a lot to do with the investment of these two.

I’ll never forget the first time I met Christina. We were at a football game and someone introduced me to this tall beautiful brunette who is my age and a professor here at the university. Do you ever meet people who make you stop and think, “What have I been doing with my life?” Ha! Well, from day one Christina has inspired me like crazy. What I love most of all about her, though, is her remarkably beautiful spirit. She is a friend that I treasure, and I am overjoyed to honor her and her incredible husband today!

This couple exemplifies the adventurous life of faith in a way that is contagious. There is something exhilarating and cool about seeing fellow Millennials step out to share the message and hope of Jesus with the world. I love seeing faith that is as alive and active and world-changing as what we read about in Acts. And that is the quality the Gards possess. I am so excited about what God is doing in and through this couple that I wanted you to hear it from them directly. So, instead of the usual blog entry, I have a Podcast of our interview!
