Paleo-Vegan Chocolate Granola Bars
(Gluten free, Dairy free, Sugar free, Grain free)
Whether you are a health nut, or if you just like things that taste good, you are going to thank me for this one! It is a total miracle because I actually just made it up, which usually turns out to be a train wreck! But this is manna from heaven, especially if you are limited to a strict diet like I am.
These granola bars were SO EASY to make, and they
are so yummy!
In a large bowl, mix:
1 cup of almond butter (I use Barney & Co.)
1 cup of sliced almonds
1 cup of crumbled pecans
1 cup of pine nuts
1 cup of flax seeds
1 cup of sunflower seeds (no salt on any seeds or nuts)
1 cup of almond meal
1 cup of unsweetened coconut
1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup of honey
½ cup of water
2 stevia packets
about 4 shakes of salt
Once all mixed together, press mixture into a greased casserole dish. (I use grape seed oil.) Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Refrigerate for easier cutting. Enjoy!
